A Book of Curries and Chutneys by William B. Templeton Veach with Helen Evans Brown, 1963. This vintage cookbook has 10 sections focused on various dishes, including of course curries and chutneys but also soups, kedegree (simply leftovers mixed with rice or lentils) and bhurtas (spiced garnishes also called sambals or rougails) to name a few. The author was a California chef and was a friend of James Beard whom he hosted while he lived in Italy and France.
