Cookbook - A Book of Curries and Chutneys by William Veach, 1963
"We Adjure you not to pass by the Instructions given in This Chapter for Making Your Own Chutneys, for they are not at all Difficult to Make, and Ever So Much Better than anything that comes off the shelf of the Grocer's Shop. Also Remember that a jar of Chutney of Your Own Making is a most Acceptable Christmas Present." Pg. 97
