Product Description
"For the working, busy cook, the crockery-pot is the best invention since sliced bread." Inside cover dust jacket
Crockery Cooking by Alexis Durrell, 1975. This late mid-century cookbook is straight forward with minimal fluff. There are 191 recipes on its 80 pages each with a simple list of ingredients and uncomplicated instructions. Most recipes include instructions to place in crock-pot and cook at low, all day. Serving instructions are often included. Many pages include black and white drawings and the entire cookbook is printed in an old-school computer type font to give the look that it could have been originally produced on a 1975 word processor.
