Sheffield Yellow Bakelite Carving Set, Knife, Fork and Steel, s/3

Vintage Sheffield Bakelite Handled Carving Knife, Fork and Sharpening Steel. All three pieces have a lovely smooth shine of swirly yellow with slight color variations in the swirls that include yellows, creams, browns, and greens. The overall look is of creamy yellow. The bolster in the middle of each piece adds charm with a slanted rope detail. The fork has an attached stand. A beautiful carving set that will make a statement and go with most tablescapes when you entertain. A note on etiquette: generally, the carving knife should be sharpened in the kitchen, but when you have a beautiful set to show off, the steel can be brought to the table and laid horizontally above the platter with the handle facing left so in a position ready for use.

Size: Knife - 1 1/4" x 14 1/4"; Fork - 1" x 10"; Steel - 1" x 11"

Condition:  Vintage. Very slight scratches on stainless steel parts but still have an excellent shine. Handles are very good to excellent.
